Trying to get a Kinect for 360 going on Windows 11. Downloaded the Kinect for Windows SDK 1.8 and installed it. The device is not recognized by any programs. The light on the front of the Kinect blinks, when it should be solid IIR. Device manager shows the Kinect is there but gives the error for the camera Device USB\VID_045E&PID_02AE\B00362724565110B had a problem starting. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and no changes. This is a Microsoft device on a Windows system. The fact that it isn't plug n play is a travesty. I appreciate any help from anyone who actually has a Kinect for 360
