Device settings for were not migrated... for my touchpad

My touchpad was working fine a day ago but today when I opened my laptop it seemed like it had updated and restarted, which was weird because update logs showed it hadn't done anything past a minor security update and now the touchpad doesn't work at all. A usb mouse works though. I've tried a slew of things that I'll list as well as gone through all my device manager devices related to my touchpad.
