Hi everyone!
I have an Alienware Area 51m and I'm experiencing a very weird and frustrating problem that, searching on the internet, I found being very common, but no given solution seems to work.
When I boot windows sometimes the keyboard stops randomly to work, when this happen two (sometimes three) "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)" appear in Device Manager and keyboard driver disappears.
This is very annoying because it occur during the session, after some time, and totally random.
This is definitely a windows problem and not an hardware problem, because in GRUB/Ubuntu keyboard always works.
I have already talked with Dell technician, they tried everything they could think but nothing works, finally they proposed to change my keyboard/motherboard, but I have read of people with my same problem who accepted and that didn't solve the problem.
I have already tried different solutions, like reinstalling windows, updating all drivers, updating windows, turn off fast startup, disable the USB unrecognized but nothing works.
Help is well accepted!
