Desktop Microphone No Longer Working

Today, my microphone was working fine when all of a sudden, it decided to totally stop working. The last thing I remember doing that could possibly have to do with it is that I was clearing some of my storage, which could have possibly contained some software regarding my microphone??In any case, I've tried some fixes but to no avail. My microphone and headset are detected by my pc, and my headset can play sound just fine, but the mic simply refuses to pick up any sort of sound. Any and all help is appreciated.If it helps, my headset is a Razer Kraken X.Thanks.
