XP Pro, IE 8 - Do not really know what to ask for but my desktop icons and

other icons throughtout system are one-click icons instead of the

double-click icons. This is annoying and I'd like to change but do not have a

clue as to how it happened and what to call it.

Thanks in advance.

Go to the Control Panel and then to Folder Options.

Change the settings from single click to double click on the "General" tab.
