Desktop icons keep rearranging

Hello, we are using win 2003 server with AD and roaming profiles. Our client

pc's are all XP SP2.



However, On one computer, the desktop icons keep rearranging from time to

time.

I have noted the settings from the desktop and they are as following:

- Align to grid is checked

- Show desktop icons is checkec

- all other options are UNchecked



The graphic card is a NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290



any additional info can be given if possible.



Can anyone please help in with any suggestions? Without the use of third

party software as only this computer has this problem..

This can happen after the machine has booted into Safe Mode. You can take a

snapshot of the current desktop layout, then restore it when necessary - see

Can i automate the save and restore proces from that dll with a logoff and

logon script?
