Deleting a non-mapped network location

Hello,I am trying to delete a network location (NOT a mapped drive with an assigned letter) . I have tried the method that requires you to navigate to C:\Users\user-name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Network Shortcuts but no Network drive is listed. The icon and server name is visible in explorer but I can no longer connect to it. It has been working but then after a while, the connection in one direction fails though not in the other I.E.
