Daily Windows 11 task randomly fails to run, yet last execution status shows as successful.

I have a Windows 11 task that is set up to run daily. It is a task that I have been running for years with no issues. Starting last month (September 2023), it randomly misses a daily run, and the last run indicates a successful execution. The task parameters are unchanged. What is causing this task to randonmly fail to run every so often and yet show no signs of an execution error in the Task Scheduler?
