Create pin or reset old pin for login to computer

Hi, I have been logging into my computer using biometrics, a few days ago it didn't work and needed a password, I didn't remember it, tried multiple passwords with no success. Now the only way to get in is with a pin which I don't have. Is there a way to setup a pin to to create a new one?
