Couldn't unlock lock screen easily, was this related to Microsoft 365 issues?

Yesterday (Friday, Australian Eastern standard time) from late morning to late afternoon, pressing Return or clicking the left mouse key on certain parts of the lock screen didn't bring up the PIN prompt like usual. Instead, you had to click on one of the text boxes advertising Game Pass. I don't know if the following detail was correct, but the text box seemed to switch to different parts of the screen depending on where the mouse pointer was. I had to click on a text box to see the PIN prompt, however, once unlocked, Edge would start up displaying a Game Pass ad.This was the lock screen y
