Corrupt Microsoft Account Causing Restart Function To Not Work

Hi all,I've had an issue for the past week or so on my asus rog strix g18 gaming laptop rig which has caused my restart function to stop working completely whether i need to update windows and restart, or try and do a system repair and restart afterwards, the entire function doesn't work with anything involving a restart. Anytime I try to restart i'm met with the asus logo screen without the loading ring dots underneath and that asus logo boot screen will stay there until I manually shutdown the laptop with the power button and then power it back on.
