Copilot sign-in "Forget" has no effect.

Say I'm signed into Windows on my personal Microsoft account and not signed in to Copilot. When I open copilot, it asks for my credentials and shows the account name as an email address at my school, not my Microsoft Account account name. There are three dots in the account name field where one of the options is "forget". But it does not seem to have any effect. The very next time I'm challenged that erroneous account name will be the default account name. Does anyone know why or how to get rid of this?
