Copilot "It's not you, it's me" error

This started happening ever since the latest overhaul to the copilot app about a month ago. On both my PC and my laptop, I get this error sometimes when I open the app. It works fine every time after I click try again.I've already tried the 'repair' option in the windows app settings and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Neither of those have fixed it.
