COPIED .MP4 FILES WON'T PLAY!

I have copied several hundred .mp4 movie files from my WD 5TB My Passport Portable External Hard Drive over to a newly acquired 16TB portable SSD drive. A small quantity of the copied files plays fine on the SSD, but the majority of the files don't! The properties of the files on both drives appear to be the same.NOTE: All of the .mp4 files on the WD 5TB My Passport Portable External Hard Drive play fine using VLC Media Player and/or Windows Media Player. I am using a desktop PC with Windows 11 Pro with a 64-bit OS. What could possibly be the problem here?A prompt response will
