Constant need to restart Windows Explorer to keep taskbar hidden.

As the title says, I have my taskbar set to hide automatically, but after the last 2 updates, it just stops hiding constantly and I'm constantly having to restart windows explorer to get it to function and hide correctly. it used to happen once or twice every few weeks, but now it happens every 5-10 minutes. I also run 2 displays and sometimes it will auto hide on 1 display, but remain open on the other. this has become a very persistent and very annoying issue.
