Constant BSOD

At wit's end after a few days and am hoping someone in the community can help me out. I'm on a three-year old HP Pavilion 27 computer that for some time has been crashing. Before it seemed to occur only intermittently, and usually only after I've walked away from the computer for a bit, but it's gotten worse after a recent Windows update, and even worse after a complete Windows reinstall (at which point the green screen of death turned into a blue screen of death).
