Consistent download error (0x800700d8) while trying to update windows.

Hello! I've been at it for about a week trying to update my windows yet it always returns with the download error code 0x800700d8. I've been trying to find something online yet nothing is working. Another thing to mention is when every time I boot my PC a message will pop up saying, "Scanning and repairing drive (\\?\Volume{56aeaa5e-5449-4345-87fb-9e6508508cb0}): 10" Anything will help!
