"Connected, no internet"

Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5040442).Strange little problem on my Acer laptop:I've just moved house. The new house is completely cabled. I have a wireless access point downstairs ("EXT_1") and one upstairs ("EXT_2"). If I am upstairs connected to EXT_2 and move downstairs, the laptop will connect OK to EXT_1, but there will be no internet connection. Nothing I do (switch between 2.4 and 5 ; disabling and re-enabling WiFi) will fix it, and I have to reboot the laptop to get it to connect again but with internet.It's not the end of the world but it can be irritating.
