Computer showing black screen on start up with loading circle going, wont respond to any key commands

hello, Last night my computer was acting weird so i hard shut it off before going to bed. Upon trying to use it today it is now showing me a black bootup screen on start-up with the loading icon and will not respond to any key commands or anything else. Please help
