Computer not registering any sound input.

Hi! I’ve been having this issue for months now. Had this computer for about a year? Roughly and for a while this wasnt an issue at all. I typically use headphones that can plug into the front Jack and originally the microphone/input audio worked just fine. Around March(?) of last year was when things became an issue. Around that time I had retired my original headset and moved over to a new pair, and those were also working just fine previously on this computer specifically. But one day I went over to the computer and it wasn’t registering any input audio at all. Ive troubleshooted, looked in
