Computer Hard Freezing While Gaming and Browsing the Internet.

Starting approximately around the New Year, I have been experiencing "hard freezes" when gaming and, recently, while just browsing the internet. The display will freeze, and the computer will not respond. Ctrl+Alt+Del will not work, Alt+F4 will not work, Ctrl+W will not work, Win+Tab will not work, Ctrl+Shift+Esc with Task Manager "Always on top" will not work. The only remedy is using the physical power button to power off-on the computer. Because there is no blue screen (and yes, I have waited up to 40 minutes to see if one appeared after a freeze), I cannot find any relevant minidumps or ST
