Computer crashing after recent updates

After a recent update from a few days ago my computer has started crashing again. It came to a boiling point 2 weeks ago when the issue got so bad I finally replaced my corrupted RAM which seemed to fix my incessant crashing unrelated to this issue. For a solid week my computer ran smoothly with no crashing until recently I seen there was an update for Windows. I let the update install and shut down my computer only to wake up to more or less the same crashing problem, random crashes with blue or black screens of death followed by a restart.
