Computer can't recognize any audio devices

For a while now my computer (running on Windows 10) has an audio problem. On the taskbar the audio icon is crossed out with the text 'No speakers or headphones are plugged in.' I've tried troubleshooting the audio and the 'Get Help' app told me that there's a problem with the drivers though it can't fix it. I tried uninstalling the drivers in Device Manager but it didn't help. I can't roll them back either. The headset works on my laptop (also Windows 10) though not on this PC. I tried plugging in a Speaker setup but it also wasn't recognized. I tried looking for help in many forums but seemin
