Completely locked out of laptop: Stuck in the Lock Screen and cannot configure a PIN. Overrun of stack-based buffer in the application

Just tried to do a clean boot on the laptop. It is possible that I unchecked the hide all microsoft services when i did so. But once I restarted, I arrived at a the lock screen with no access to PIN and camera. When i tried setting up the PIN, it directed me to a “Search for app in the Store?” To install an app. Upon pressing Yes and waiting, I get the error that the system found “an overrun of a stack-based buffer in the application.
