Compatibility Issue in Windows 11

Solar Fire 9 (old windows software, worked on XP, 7 and 10, the latter in compatibility mode for windows 7) Have installed the software in windows 11. It starts but before even getting the graphics for the start page together, it switches itself off, after just one second. I've tried to run it in compatibility mode for windows XP, 7 and 8, but the problem remains. Have been told that some of the files from the .exe folder may have been sent to One Drive, instead of the laptop and are then not available upon start-up. While this sounds plausible to me, One Drive shows as disconnected. What am I
