CMD and PowerShell exiting/crashing when ran in admin mode on Windows 11

The title is pretty much expains it all. I have been trying to do some things on my computer that require these terminals to be ran in admin mode, but am unable to because the terminal exits mid-process. I saw a recommendation was to run 'sfc /scannow', but the catch was that the terminal had to be admin mode. This meant the process would reach 2~3% and then exit. I ran the CMD normally and noticed that, after leaving it open for a period, it exitted with code 4294967295. What are the further suggested fixes?
