Clipchamp won't open vertical files

I get an error that says "Unable to import some media" whenever I try to open the video files i need to rotate. These files are MP4 but were filmed vertically and I want to rotate them in Clipchamp. My other files that are already horizontal import with no problem. All files are MP4 format and from the same camera and in the same folder. I have tried the desktop and browser versions of Clipchamp. I have tried drag and drop, import from Clipchamp, and right clicking the file and saying open in Clipchamp.
