Clicking my Desktop minimizes all open windows

Hello! For a couple months now I've been facing an issue where clicking anywhere on my desktop -screen 1 or 2- will close all my open windows, also on both screens. I can fix this temporarily by restarting the explorer in Task Manager, but it comes back when I restart the computer. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
