Is it possible to set up a new machine using an outlook.com alias as the login, generating a user folder matching the alias? By default when I sign in with an alias, the user folder will match the primary email address anyway, not the alias that I used to start the setup process. That’s really it, so if you know the answer you can skip the rest. For those that want to know what the heck I’m trying to do and why: I have an alias that’s short and sweet, let’s say it’s joe at outlook.com (it’s not, just as an example).
