Charger LEd is not working and battery is not charging

i got a new Surface Laptop 7th edition, and all was working finesuddenly the chager LED light stopped and sure the battery doesn't charge anymorewhen i plug in the charger, it light for few seconds then Off... however some times it work perfectly, but very few timei try to charge by USB C port, it is working fine, but i noticed that the Laptop is Hot beside the USB port and beside the Power Button. Can you please help to check and solve this problem, the Laptop is still new and under warranty.
