Changing the name of my PC Microsoft linked account

I was wondering if changing it can affect by any way my pc ?I changed the name of my microsoft account that appears in my pc (not the name of the pc) so i did it by the Microsoft website and was thinking if it can break something, by maybe changing the name of user folder or something ? Also it seems that the name changed when you click on settings and you are at the first page (where you can see your profile picture and name at the top left), but not in the start menu and in the settings>account>my informations tab on the pc. Is it normal ? How much time it can take?
