Changing IP address on network printer which isn't detected due to router block

I had previously setup my Brother Netwrok printer via my ISP modem/router.I'm having issues with the 2.4 Ghz band with the ISP's router, so I had to connect an older DIR-822 router from D-link).Unfortunately, the DIR-822 is (seemingly) blocking the connection to the printer which had an IP address of 10.0.0.xx. From what I gather this IP address is similar to my ISP's router address. I have to access my settings via http://10.0.0.1/.Is there a way to either force the DIR-822 to accept the f 10.0.0.xx. address? I think not since that was assigned by my ISP's router.
