Changing graphics settings

so i was recently trying to play a game and i have 2 graphic cards, one of them is intel which i think it belongs to the cpu, and the other is the better one which is nvidia, the game only works on the nvidia graphics card which is Nvidia geforce GT 525M, when i try to set it to run on the nvidia gpu it doesnt work, it's like this, i need to change the "high performance" thing from intel HD 3000 to Nvidia geforce GT 525M, how do i do that
