Hello,
I have a number of Exchange users that have multiple SMTP address configured on their accounts. How can allow these users to use any one of these address as a Reply-To address when sending a email. Certain external services, expect emails to come from a particular address, based on the address used during signup. Unfortunately some of these services do not currently allow the changing of the email address.
Whenever my users try to use one of their SMTP address in the Reply-To they get the following message:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: test
Sent: 3/8/2020 9:20 AM
The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:
'useralias2@samedomain.com' on 3/8/2020 9:20 AM
This message could not be sent. You do not have the permission to send the message on behalf of the specified user.
We are not attempting to send On-Behalf-Of or Send-As another user. Just trying to use one of the configured SMTP address. It is very impractical to have the Administrator change the user's default reply address each time the user has to send such an email and change it back before the user sends a regular email.
Thanks!
