I have a Windows 11 laptop with a built-in cellular modem. I often have to connect to 'dead' ethernet connections to troubleshoot router or switch issues, but when I do, Windows WILL NOT allow any internet traffic over the cellular modem. Its not disconnecting, it is just refusing to route. This is evidenced by running a continuous ping; when I connect an ethernet cable, as soon as a gateway and DCHP connection is established my pings dtart dropping; but it takes less than a second for them to resume with the physical cable is removed from the LAN port.This means I can not search for solutions
