Hello guys, I have the following problem. My laptop (Dell Inspiron 5485 AMD version) suddenly stopped waking up when I close the lid or just go to sleep mode. Like I said this happened suddenly, one day I closed the lid and probable 1 hour later I noticed that the laptop was working and was heating up but wouldn't turn on.
I hard reset it but after it wouldn't wake up from sleep mode. I tried a couple of things like -> checking if my keyboard, touchpad and mouse can wake up the laptop, I unchecked the tick for a USB hub to turn off a device in order to save power, reset the power plan option to the factory one. But no luck, I am open to suggestions.
Fun fact is that this happened last year as well but I had to install windows again because I bought a new SSD and reinstalling windows helped. I know it is not a hardware problem because the laptop is dual boot and I don't have any problems on Linux only in Windows.
