Can't type letters but only number when creating a new pin

Good morning everyone,I sincerely apologize if this has been answered elsewhere, but I couldn't just find the solution no matter what.I have been struggling to create a new pin in my laptop as I can't seem to type letters when making the pin. Typing when inside the laptop seems totally fine, hence me writing this message. The only problem is when making the new pin.I also have no selection of including letters and symbols, that I had seen elsewhere with someone with a similar problem. What should I do to fix this?
