Can't sign in, no internet

Hi. I just got a new computer with an Intel chip and updated the bios. Upon restart, Windows is saying they can't find my PIN and asking me to set up a PIN, but I get an error that there is no internet. I followed instructions here to rename the NGC file to remove the PIN.Now, I get a prompt to sign in, but still says I need to be connected to the Internet. And l don't think I set up a password before. I sign in usually using my PIN or getting a code.Please help.ThxJason
