Have you tried completely Uninstalling it and re installing it?

You should uninstall Adobe Reader completely and also run CCleaner to remove

any registry entries still remaining after uninstalling Adobe Reader.

Once you have done this and rebooted your system, try to re-install adobe

reader version 9.1.3 (I think this is the latest version). this should work

but if it doesn't then you know who to ask at adobe. Let me know if you

want a link to their forums where adobe.pigs (cousins of our pig-bear)

reside.

From some other posts that I've seen, the latest version of Adobe Reader

(AR) is screwed up and the suggestion is to go back one version (which means

you have to find their download page rather than do the auto install).

Luckily, I don't run into AR problems because I use something else for

reading .pdf files, like PDF-Xchange, which work solid with IE and give me

more features than in AR.
