can't see 2 computers running Windows 11 on wired home network

One computer is a DELL laptop the second is an ASUS Desktop, both are running windows 11 latest update. Both computers are Cat6 wired to latest Linksys router and home network. All settings for net discovery, Private, etc are checked ON. I have run out of ideas on what to look for. Sharing ON, APP for NET discovery on MS firewall is checked ON to allow. Net SEES all the other items on my home network EXCEPT each other and themselves. They both even see an older desktop in another part of the house! What am I missing?
