Can't Remove Devices Under Bluetooth & Devices > Devices

I have a problem with my USB game controllers. Yesterday they were fine but now Windows will not detect them. I have tried different controllers and multiple USB ports. Device Manager doesn't even show them. Under Bluetooth & Devices > Devices, I see "controller" under Other Devices, and it says, "Driver error." The troubleshooter said the driver was up to date. I tried removing the device, but it just says "removing device" forever. It never removes it. So now my USB port doesn't work anymore, and I can't fix it. This is a major problem.
