Can't open .JAR files on new windows 11 pro laptop

i have moved all my .jar files from my old laptop, and even tried redowloading a new one just to be surei installed java and the file icon updated to the java icon but when double clicking it refused to openi right clicked and selected java to open to file every time and it still refuses to openi installed java jdk23 which did not solve the issuei installed and ran jarfix multiple times which did not solve the issueand i reinstalled java which did not solve the issuethe problem persists with no info being provided as to what is causing the issue or how to fix and any only resources only provid
