Can't open google chrome on laptop anymore

I have a laptop and after I shut it down before leaving my house. After arriving after going out. When I turned on the laptop and went to open the Google chrome, I can no longer open it, it says.C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exeThe application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.
