I upgraded from Windows 7. Security Essentials was great! Defender for 10 is ridiculous! Can Microsoft please make it more like Essentials?? After jumping through all of the hoops to get a scheduled scan, your PC needs to be on (of course) and awake. When the scan starts, if you move the mouse, it stops! It will start over the next time the PC is idle. But don't you dare touch that mouse again. This is dumb. If you run a manual scan, it will continue to scan while you use the PC. This is the best way to go, as of now. Also, the notification feature says that Defender needs to scan when it was just recently done. I want to use it because it's free, and I had no issues at all with MSE. I'm really hoping that this gets better! Anyone agree??
