Can’t log in, “The user’s password must be changed before signing in.”

I get the above prompt when trying to sign in. I’ve tried various solutions online. When I just leave the password blank and press “enter”, I get “Unable to update the password. The value provided for the new password does not meet the length, complexity, or history requirements of the domain.” I get the same message when I enter the password linked to my Microsoft account and try entering a new password (with special characters and all). I’ve also tried shutting down, restarting etc but it’s the same thing every time. It’s been 2 full days now. Please help!
