As the title says. I'm fighting with this problem for 1 month and can't find any fix for it.
First I'm gonna explain everything: I'm a Windows 7 user and a month ago I decided to upgrade my .NET Framework from 4.5.2 to 4.7.2. So firstly I uninstalled the 4.5.2 and went on the Microsoft page to get the 4.7.2 one and guess what ''Installation did not succeed......Fatal error durring installation''.I tryied the runtime one, the web installer and the offline installer, nothing worked.
Then I went on Windows Updates. I installed all updates that were currently needed the optional and important ones. After installing all the updates I checked for updates again to be sure that isn't any update installed left, and it found 3 more updates. One of them were the .NET Framework 4.7.2 (so installing .NET Framework from the Windows Updates).
As you can see there is security update for Visual C++ aswel. I pressed to install them, and after they finished installing it showed up that error:
Yes error code 643, went up on Youtube but nothing helped me fixing this, I used almost every fixing program known like: Microsoft .NET fixing tool or Windows Update fixing tool. Well after I used the Windows Update fixing tool it auto-repaired the problems except 1 problem: it was the error code 0x8007000. It said that it couldn't be fixed automaticaly. Found some programs that I thought it may fix those 2 error code problems. I used Driver Easy to install all the missing drivers and update all the drivers, I also used Regcure Pro and fixed all issues, and guess what it fixed when I checked Windows Update fixing tool again that error wasn't there anymore (the 0x8007000 one) it fixed everything except the error code 643 from Windows Update, and again .NET Framework couldn't be installed. Please I really need help and I don't know what to do anymore. I don't want to reinstall Windows. I never had such a problematic issue on my PC in my life. Please I would appreciate any help except reinstalling Windows. Thank you for reading this.
