I have win11 on my brand new HP laptop. It recognises my iPhone 15 Pro Max, so when I open Photos it can see the phone. I want to import photos from my iPhone straight to a USB drive plugged into the laptop, but the Photos app doesnt see the USB drive. It sees the iPhone, and will allow me to move photos onto the laptop or into the cloud, but there is no sign of the usb drive... I can use the usb drive for anything else on the laptop, and in fact have moved many of the picture and video files onto it over the last few months without a problem.
