Can't Format Excel 2016 Spreadsheet

Opening a spreadsheet i use a lot and found that i couldn't format my charts. All options are grayed out. Screenshot is below. This is happening to all my spreadsheets. I can enter data and it shows up in the charts, but i can't format or modify the chart. How can i restore functionality to Excel?Using Windows 11, Excel 2016Thanks!
