I entered a post under office general questions on 12th Feb and could see it

then but can't find it today to see if I got any answers. I also don't get

emails to say that someone has replied yet I have ticked the box that says

"Notify me of replies" What am I doing wrong?

It is still there, along with a response.

You will get a far better experience of newsgroups if you use a proper

newsreader instead of that slow and quirky web interface you are

using.

Thanks .. I found it .. I entered it on the 12th but it shows on the dates of

the 11th (must be a US date?). I will try and load in the news reader you

quoted .. Thanks .. BTW do you know where I find the example workbook? I have

searched my disk for it and also looked in the help area of excel but can't

find any reference to it?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Yes, it would show as a US date as you are using the web site.

Yours shows to me in Agent as the 12th 2:31 pm (Tasmanian Time)

Sorry, I don't often use Excel and cannot answer your query.

All is good but one more question .. I setup Outlook (and Outlook Express) to

be the News reader and I can see my posts, can I reply directly from the

Outlook Express setup ?

Yes, you can reply to the group directly from Outlook Express.

Outlook is not a newsreader. OE is the newsreader.
