Cant extend disk because there is a partition between C-drive and new volume

I can't extend my C-drive (when I right-click the C-drive, the "Extend Volume" command is greyed out).Apparently it is because "another volume is between the unallocated space and the volume that you want to extend". I cant move or delete this volume (the Recovery Partition)...So what do I do to add the 20 GB to my C-drive?
